About me
I was raised on the north side of Lake Pontchartrain in the New Orleans area where my Nana first got me interested in sewing at the young age of thirteen. Being quite petite, I rarely found clothes that fit me well, so I began to design and build clothing for myself. In college, at Samford University, I majored in Theatre and Dance and there discovered my love for costume design.

After graduating, I began costume designing musicals at the famed Stage Door Manor located in the Catskills and then briefly worked in New York City. But being a Louisiana girl through and through, my heart eventually brought me back to New Orleans where I worked in retail while designing burlesque costumes for the well-known burlesque performer Roxie LeRouge.

In short time, I was again designing costumes for the theatre, working with Le Petit Theatre, Tulane Summer Lyric, The NOLA Project, New Orleans Shakespeare Festival, Goat in the Road Productions, Southern Rep, and more. It was through this work that I met my husband, A.J. We now reside in the Irish Channel of New Orleans with our two fur-babies, Nunu and Ruby.
